Latin America. Logicalis, a global provider of integrated Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions and services, recently announced the appointment of Fernando Rubio as CEO - Chief Executive Officer - of the company for the Southern Cone.

Fernando is a professional with more than 25 years of experience in the management sector of the IT industry. He is an engineer from the University of Buenos Aires and holds a Master's Degree in Economics from ESEADE and an MBA from The State University of New York.
He began his professional career at IBM Argentina, where he worked for 16 years, starting as an Engineer and becoming Sales Director for Cono Sur. In 2001 he continued in the Avaya company, first as Director for Southern Cone and then extending his functions throughout Latin America. In the last stage, he assumed as General Director for Mexico, moving to that country to lead the operations.
The last four years, Fernando served as SAP's Managing Director for Latin America Multicountry, being responsible for the company's operations in South American and Caribbean countries.
From Buenos Aires, the executive will lead Logicalis' operations for Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. Fernando's incorporation into the company is related to the strategic development plan for the region. Rodrigo Parreira, who held the position of CEO for the Southern Cone for the last two years, will relocate to Brazil to perform CEO roles for Latin America. Its main objectives will be to continue the growth of the company, deepen regional synergy and lead opportunities in Latin America.
