International. The organization Mission 500, dedicated to helping children and communities in need with the support of the security industry, will award vivint and Mary Jensby, director of Monitronics for their outstanding philanthropic contributions over the past year.
On the one hand, the company Vivit will be recognized with the Mission 500 CSR 2012 award, thanks to its corporate social responsibility; the company matched the $726,000 its staff had raised by allowing them to donate more than $1,000,000 to different charities.
Thanks to its Vivint Gives Back program, company staff also donated 8,400 hours of service to organizations and families in need, including their participation as volunteers in the food, assistance and Christmas gift programs.
Monitronics Director Mary Jensby will receive the Mission 500 Humanitarian Award, in recognition of her numerous initiatives involving volunteers for community and social causes in the Dallas area. In addition, its working group with Monitronics called Adoptive, has been characterized by doing social functions in the most needy schools.
Both prizes will be awarded on March 29 within the framework of the ISC West event, where the reception of the Security 5K marathon will also be held.
