The Managua Delegation of the National Police will provide 30 satellite locators (GPS) equipment to an equal number of motorized patrols in the capital, thanks to the donation given to them by the company AirPak, a member of the Coen Group, which will improve police work and attention to citizens.
"That contributes to the control, supervision to measure the response and the effectiveness that there is around the call (of the inhabitants), that is, to measure results and control in a technological way the development of the media. The population will receive better care and service with these new devices," explained Commissioner General Róger Ramírez, chief of the Managua Police.
The police chief explained that the GPS will be installed by 30 motorcycles of the emergency service of the Managua Police and that they will seek to expand coverage with these devices in the rest of the country.
"This collaboration reaffirms the commitment of AirPak and the Coen Group to contribute to greater security for Nicaraguans, especially at the end of the year holidays, by facilitating police driving and integrated information system in cities," said Gilberto Parada, general manager of AirPak.
