The study showed that the Brazilian manufacturers and distributions market received more than US$100 million in 2010, both from cameras and software, largely due to the high import costs of foreign equipment that were not profitable for medium and small projects.
In several cases, some of the local brands have expanded to other Latin American countries and although strong competition and the rapid evolution of technology forces constant investments to keep pace, the success in the facilities produced a growth that puts Brazil on the international stage thanks to the advancement and innovation of its technology.
