The Intelli-FIELD is a terrain-adaptable volumetric sensor that generates an electrostatic field through parallel sensor fields and cables. This system has an electronic design that allows it to operate completely isolated from any electrical terrain reference, also uses a much lower voltage than that of other sensors to stimulate the generating cables of the field. The electronic processor automatically adjusts and calibrates the strength of the output signal according to the ambient transducer. This design reduces the risks of field electrical components and minimizes the effects of environmental contamination of insulators.
The processor analyzes a signal composed of the change in amplitude (weight of the intruder), the speed of change (movement of the intruder) and the time when the intruder is in the detection field and a detection alarm is triggered.
