USA/UK. Brijot Imaging Systems, a manufacturer of object detection and human scanning technology using millimeter passive waves, has signed a contract with the UK government department for the supply, installation and maintenance of this technology.
The investment will be applied in the verification and control of passports and customs, and detection measures at points of entry and exit of people and goods. Brijot's technology responded to the requirement of non-invasiveness in the detection of objects, such as illicit drugs and cash. The BIS-WDS® GEN 2 systems will initially be deployed in ports and airports, and will include training and five years of support and maintenance.
Brijot Imaging Systems is headquartered in Lake Mary, Florida, where it designs, manufactures and sells the BIS-WDS® GEN 2 system, for the detection of liquids, gels and explosives.
