It is not uncommon to find in most residential complexes security problems, mainly related to the access of residents, visitors and third parties.
Therefore, and with the aim of offering a definitive solution for the control of entry of vehicles and people, the company Ausec Automação e Segurança, in alliance with ARM Sistemas, supplied a solution based on TAG UHF (manufactured by Acura) for vehicle control, while Handkey biometric technology was used for pedestrian control, all integrated into ARM's QMS. It should be noted that this software is known as one of the most efficient condominium management systems on the market, and has been successfully implemented in one of the largest luxury properties in the ABC region, in São Paulo.
Residential Security Management
The Swiss Park residential complex is located in the city of São Bernardo do Campo, where its inhabitants have the most modern security systems managed by a highly trained team.
As an essential tool for the identification of daily accesses to the property, the access control software implemented by ASUEC provides detailed information on all residents, vehicles, visitors and third parties; becoming a solution to support the security team.
All information from service providers and visitors, such as full name, identification, destination and even image, is handled by the software and can be consulted through reports provided by an easy-to-use and functional interface. The outsourced ones even have geometry of the hands registered for access by means of a coupled to the biometric reader. The method of biometric verification by hand geometry, unlike fingerprint printing, effectively guarantees that access is made by the duly registered person, in addition to offering solidity and agility to the process of entry and exit of employees. It could be said that this security system must be considered in most processes of this type of security due to the low rate of rejections that occur.
The vehicles have UHF radio frequency cards that allow the previous identification of the car through readers strategically attached to the surveillance cabin. This procedure is known as "arrival notice" and the validation of the registered information is done by a watchman who visually verifies data such as the color of the vehicle, the make, the model, in addition to making a visual identification of the passengers. The used UHF readers allow a range of five meters, which facilitate the work of surveillance personnel and prevent vehicles from accumulating in the gates. Since the equipment is equipped with anti-collision technology it is even possible to perform simultaneous identification of several cards. In addition, the reading can be easily directed, which allows several travel tracks to be installed laterally, thanks to which the access of the vehicles is optimized.
Additional adjustments
In addition to the integration of the access systems, Ausec also took charge of the works to replace the pavements of the cabins, due to the structural adjustments that occurred during the installation of the system. Work was carried out from the removal of the old pavement to the installation of new gates and inductive cables for automatic actuation, since these guarantee a greater durability of the installation and great efficiency in the process of vehicle access.
Likewise, all the readaptation of the electrical power system of the system designed and implemented by Ausec was carried out, in order to guarantee, mainly, the operational continuity of the solution. Thus, with the redistribution of electrical loads and the use of devices to ensure uninterrupted electrical flow, it is possible for personnel and vehicle identification processes to be executed continuously, in any condition.
The implementation of all equipment, systems and infrastructure was completed by Ausec with the training and training of the personnel responsible for the commissioning of the system, in order to ensure the maximum efficiency of the solution. Previous tests of the use of the equipment, training of specialized personnel and maintenance teams, were essential for the implementation without disorders and with the desired control.
In this way, it can be perceived that the planning of the implementation by the integrator is essential to minimize the impacts of a project of that size. Likewise, the experience of the company responsible for the integration of equipment and systems is an important element for the success of the solution, and of course, the importance of the contribution of suppliers (ARM Sistemas, Acura, Digicon, Gama7, Maxtel, Trade).
