Mexico. The new Suburban Train that will travel from Buenavista to Cuautitlán will have a surveillance system composed of 300 cameras which will be located on platforms and lobbies of the seven stations, in the Pantaco workshops and along the tracks and bridges.
These cameras will transmit in real time each situation that occurs in the route and locations of the Train, which will be received in the control center that will be located in Pantaco and from where a large part of the new transport system will be controlled.
Additionally, this new transport system, which is expected to be ready by the first quarter of 2008, will have elevators in the stations for the disabled, auditory signage and braille system in the stations, payment system with electronic cards, modal transfer centers in the stations, among others.
