Latin America. The event brought together more than 300 people and key business partners from across the Latin American region in Cartagena, Colombia, from March 11 to 14.
In its largest event of the year, Axis Communications met with clients and 150 business partners to recognize its performance during 2023, announce its upcoming launches, as well as the company's business plans in 2024.
The meeting was attended by Leopoldo Ruíz, regional director for Latin America, who commented that the security and video surveillance sector has great growth potential in the region.

At Axis, we want to be the one who supports you in illuminating all the possibilities of your business, through the stability of our company, our passion for innovation and the adaptability of our solutions to any context,” he expressed.
In Cartagena, the Sales team for Latin America represented by Alejandro Aguirre, Sales Manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean; Diana Ardila, Sales Manager for Cono Norte; Luis Mariano Vega, in charge of the Southern Cone, and Glaucio Silva, Sales Manager for Brazil.
Performance in 2023
The work team celebrated the sales record obtained in 2023 and thanked its commercial and technological partners, distributors and integrators, for making it possible.
In addition, executives highlighted that Axis offers solutions for all sectors, adding that segments such as critical infrastructure, industry and transportation will be priorities for 2024 in the region.
“We will strengthen the acquisition of solutions from our new business lines such as Audio, Intercoms and Access Control, as natural complements to our network cameras to demonstrate the diverse integration and applicability of our technological solutions,” they noted.
In turn, Luis Bonilla, Business Development and Sales Engineering Manager for Latin America, reinforced that “part of Axis Communications' business strategy is to promote and drive a holistic technological offering that goes beyond video. This includes end-to-end solutions that guarantee comprehensive security in any sector.”
Relationship with partners
Mariana Ramírez, Marketing Manager for Latin America, stated that “Axis Communications will always be supporting its partners to increase the impact of their business plans and strategies, whether through programs, courses and training, guided tours, personalized advice, and promotion of success stories.”
During the Partner Summit 2024, partners such as Genetec, ISS, Milestone and Panduit presented their different alliances and projects with the company, while Jabil México and APM Terminals Perú shared their success stories using Axis solutions.
The company also awarded the partners with the best projects with the use of new technologies, the highest number of sales, the highest growth and the distributor of the year both in the region and in the different countries where Axis has a presence.
One of the awarded companies was Wesco Anixter, thanks to its designation as Best Distributor of 2023 for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, Northern Cone and Southern Cone.
