International. Alarm.com launched its line of Pro Series video security cameras, commercial-grade Power Over Ethernet (PoE) devices, which include access to business activity analysis software.
These cameras, which were presented at the ISC West in Las Vegas last March and are touted as the "most advanced yet," serve to bolster security in businesses and commercial spaces, helping companies monitor and manage their properties. They are suitable to cover from small spaces such as a single warehouse to large spaces such as cellars, using several of them.
Meanwhile, this new line offers four different presentations: the first two are 1080p dome type with options of varifocal and fixed lenses; the third option is a 4 MP varifocal varifocal turret camera and, the last one, is a 4 MP varifocal bullet camera, which includes an audible doorbell and is compatible with perimeter Guard deterrence technology, from the same brand.
It is relevant to mention that the cameras are integrated with the Alarm.com platform, which has access and intrusion control options. In addition, it has the business activity analysis service, a video analysis solution that provides business managers, or people in charge, with key performance indicators and alerts, information on the behavior of customers and employees, ranging from occupancy tracking, people counting, heat mapping, concentration detection and queue monitoring. In addition to such alerts, companies can receive reports and heat maps that show analysis and trends of foot traffic.
Dan Kerzner, chief product officer at Alarm.com, commented: "Historically, investments in surveillance cameras have been used to deter crime and present forensic recordings. However, we are thrilled to launch the new Pro Series line cameras and Business Activity Analytics to also deliver operational metrics and deliver a higher return on investment to business owners."
Finally, to the date of this publication, the company ensures that its Pro Series video security cameras have the NDAA.
