Mexico. SISSA Digital (business unit of SISSA Monitoring Integral) developed a mobile application for ASIS International Mexico Chapter, which was presented by Pablo Ortiz-Monasterio Ruffo, founding partner of AS3 Driver Training, during the last monthly meeting held by ASIS at the beginning of September.
After the organization expressed to the team of SISSA Digital (one of the main business units of SISSA Monitoring Integral) its concerns about the processes of scheduling and payment of events that it practiced until that moment, SISSA was given the task of developing a mobile app that would promote the updating and innovation of such actions.
Every challenge is an opportunity for success
Unfortunately, as happened to numerous projects undertaken at the beginning of this year, the evolution of this app was considerably affected by the covid-19 pandemic because the tests concerning its development process were extremely limited by the suspension of activities imposed in different parts of the world, a situation that complicated the management of the resources used to support the project and hindered communication and workflow. among those involved.
However, SISSA Digital managed to take it forward in a timely manner, managing to mitigate the most common problems that ASIS International Mexico Chapter experienced when coordinating and organizing the registration of users who registered for its various events.
What does this Mobile App do?
This downloadable app for both IOS and Android aims not only to communicate the offer of events and news of ASIS Chapter Mexico, but to facilitate and optimize the registration of partners and non-partners to these events, in contrast to what happened with the generic solutions manufactured by third parties that the organization used before contacting SISSA.
In addition, this solution has the ability to link users previously registered on the organization's website without duplicating their registrations; includes an administrator of the vitals that are obtained day by day; and validates QR codes that authenticate the purchase of tickets.
Benefits acquired
According to Pablo Ortiz-Monasterio, the main benefits that ASIS International Mexico Chapter obtained after the intervention of SISSA Digital was the progressive image that the organization acquired with this app in digital media and the ease it provides people to access event calendars to register automatically, in addition to the maximization of its access control to prevent people without invitations from attending them.
"Having worked with very large institutions with around 300 programmers trying to make a single project that was never coordinated and never developed, working with Isaac's people was sensational. It was a very pleasant process and it did achieve what we were looking for," said the founding partner of AS3 Driver Training during the presentation of the application at the last monthly meeting of ASIS Mexico Chapter.
"In this application will be all the events, both monthly meetings and committees, extraordinary meetings, conferences [...] in a very simple to use interface, where anyone (partners and non-partners) can subscribe," he added.
