Latin America. Axis Communications launched a new line of security cameras aimed at protection in cities, this is the AXIS Q16 line, which includes fixed box cameras with a deep learning processing unit.
The brand explained that these high-end devices with CS mount offer exceptional image quality under any type of lighting. They incorporate an innovative double chip, which is the perfect platform to use analytics tailored to you through third-party tools based on deep learning at the edge. These cameras, equipped with Axis Lightfinder 2.0 and Axis Forensic WDR, offer true colors and an excellent level of detail in complicated lighting conditions.
AXIS Q1615-LE Mk III incorporates AXIS Optimized IR for sharp images in absolute darkness, with no additional lighting required. AXIS Q1615 Mk III is designed to be installable in AXIS T92E20 outdoor enclosure, making it easy to incorporate deep learning features into existing installations.
The installation of these cameras is cost-effective thanks to the remote zoom and focus functions, and the interchangeable lenses compatible with motorized i-CS lenses. In addition, they have an advanced security function to prevent unauthorized access and protect the system.
The processing unit with integrated deep learning offers the possibility of running analytics in the chamber (locally), which opens the door to a faster and more scalable system. Storage and bandwidth needs, as well as privacy concerns, are reduced as only relevant video streams are transferred over the network.
