The FaceStation 2 smart facial recognition terminal and Mobile Access authentication solution will soon be compatible with each other, allowing for fast and convenient operation, as users can simply bring their smartphone closer to an RFID reader to gain access from distances of less than 10 cm.
FaceStation 2 employs intelligent facial recognition that ensures highly accurate personal identification and authentication for greater overall security with contactless operation; in turn, Mobile Access is Suprema's contactless credential solution that eliminates the need for access cards and proximity devices by using iOS and Android smartphones as a secure personal access credential.
The FaceStation 2 offers high performance that includes up to 3,000 matches per second; a memory capacity for up to 30,000 users, 50,000 image records and 5 million text records; live face detection with IR-based anti-spoofing technology and multiband RF reading technology to support the latest RFID standards for multimodal credentials when needed.
For its part, Mobile Access turns virtually any iOS or Android smartphone into a highly secure contactless access credentialing device, eliminating the cost associated with issuing access cards and proximity devices.
