Argentina. Representatives of the four chambers of the sector, CAESI, CAESBA, CASEL and CEMARA were invited by the President of the Commission on Security and Penitentiary Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies of the Province of Buenos Aires, Deputy Matías Ranzini and Deputy Guillermo Bardón.
At the meeting, held in the City of La Plata, the bill to modify Law 12297, authored by the latter, was discussed, which, among other things, would oblige monitoring companies to send a technical verifier (go) prior to a request for dispatch of a police mobile to 911.
From the chambers, emphasis was placed and thanked for the historical fact of having been summoned and of initiating a joint work. From the Security Committee, Deputy Ranzini stressed the importance of moving towards versatile legislation that contemplates technological advances and can be sustained over time.
Finally, it was agreed to set up a working group to which a representative of the executive branch will also be invited to participate.
