Mexico. Johnson Controls recently held its 2019 Latin America, Brazil and Caribbean Customer Meeting, an event attended by more than 100 customers from 22 countries.
The meeting, held june 3-6 at the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa in Cancun, Mexico, offered an educational and interactive program focused on the latest technology trends in the security sector. The educational sessions addressed a variety of topics, including cybersecurity, deep learning, IoT technologies for residential and commercial use, and measures to protect critical infrastructure.
Attendees of the event were also able to learn about new solutions from Johnson Controls' broad portfolio of access control, video and intrusion products. One of the highlights of the meeting was the session presented by renowned best-selling author and speaker David Gómez, who stressed the importance of selling and doing business based on value and differentiation.

This year's meeting had, without a doubt, one of the best programs we have offered and was attended by the main professionals in the field of security in the region," said Ricardo Pulido, director of sales and business development for Latin America and the Caribbean of Tyco Security Solutions, part of Johnson Controls.
In addition to the educational sessions, there were two case study presentations showing the performance of Johnson Controls solutions in everyday life situations in Latin America. The meeting concluded with a dinner where the main integrators and distributors of security products in the region of 2018 were recognized.
