International. Milestone recently announced that it reached a remarkable 10,000 certified partners on its learning portal. Additionally, and in the span of a week in mid-May, the Milestone Learning & Performance group celebrated three important achievements:
1. On Tuesday, May 14, the completion of Milestone's 100,000th online learning course was recorded on the Partner Learning Portal. Three-quarters of the nearly 17,000 partners, from 155 countries, are new to Milestone Systems, while the remaining third are completely new to IP video surveillance. By 2019, the average student is enrolling in 5 or more courses, with a course completion rate of 95%.
2. A year ago, the Learning & Performance program launched a series of video tutorials on Milestone's Youtube channel. Today, these videos have surpassed 100,000 views. With 113 videos across 24 playlists, Learning & Performance's video tutorials currently account for half of the company's total YouTube traffic.
3. Finally, last Friday, May 10, Milestone's 10,000th partner was certified on the Milestone Partner Learning Portal. These certifications ensure that certified partners in the open platform community have the necessary experience to perform in the facilities where their field services are required, for the benefit of satisfied customers around the world.
Another piece of news comes from the recruitment processes of Milestone's Learning & Performance team. In March of this year, Tom Green was promoted to senior designer (III) of teaching programs. Tom has worked at Milestone since 2016 and is in charge of the overall development, maintenance and quality of Milestone's worldwide certification assessments, especially the MCIT (Milestone Certified Integration Technician), MCIE (Milestone Certified Integration Engineer) and MCDE (Milestone Certified Design Engineer) certification assessments.
Tom is also responsible for creating, maintaining and improving instructor-oriented courses: TC1, TC2 and solution design. Last year, he designed, developed and launched Milestone's online version of TC1 Cloudlabs, developing processes and carrying out change management as the platform was deployed worldwide. In 2019, it is developing additional certifications for computer security and development with the Milestone Integration Platform SDK (Software Development Kit).
"The Learning & Performance team is proud to be designing, developing and delivering a program that is helping our Milestone Channel business partners move from newbies to skilled professionals, who make the world understand how video technology contributes to a safer world," said Evan Stuckless, senior manager of Learning & Performance at Milestone Systems.
