The new BCDVideo Accelerator is a powerful tool for milestone video recording servers, which maximizes performance and eliminates the need for additional storage solutions, such as expensive and large 15,000 rpm hard drives.
The system was validated using Milestone's XProtect Corporate R1 2019 with 700MBps throughput and up to 2.2GBps throughput when adding a 10GbE network card kit.
With existing technology, this server needs eight 15K units of live video to maintain performance. The BVA Accelerator solution eliminates this need and replaces them with additional 112TB file storage, reducing the financial burden that a second server requires, including additional maintenance, power consumption, and labor costs.
