United States. Altronix is unveiling at ISC West 2019 its new additions to the Trove Power and Access Integration Series (photo). These new Trove models meet the industry's growing demand for space-saving rack-mounted configurations, which is highly desirable for use in data centers and MDF/IDF locations where real estate is scarce.
Trove easily combines the power of Altronix with access controllers from leading manufacturers, simplifying board design and cable management, while providing extreme flexibility and scalability. Removable back panels allow installers to easily configure and test system configurations prior to on-site installation, reducing time and labor, and increasing profitability.
The company also announced that it continues to enhance its netWay line of solutions with the introduction of several new and improved additions. The new NetWay products include three new 8-port midspans with more power, a Gigabit (1Gb) Ethernet repeater for extended cable runs, and a versatile 5-port Ethernet switch that significantly reduces installation and equipment costs.
"Our new NetWay solutions provide the additional power, extended range capabilities and cost-saving benefits that enable the latest cutting-edge devices to be installed with the highest degrees of efficiency," said Alan Forman, President of Altronix Corporation. "Equally important, Altronix's NetWay solutions present the quality and reliability that customers and installers need to keep systems running smoothly."
Altronix introduced three new 8-port NetWay midspans. The NetWay8BT provides up to 90W of power per port (480W total) for the most demanding IEEE 802.3bt Hi-PoE devices, such as multi-sensor megapixel cameras or PoE lighting. For devices that demand a power of up to 60W each, Altronix now offers the NetWay8GP, which provides up to 60W of power in all 8 ports (480W in total). The NetWay8GL provides 60W on any designated port up to a total of 240W on all 8 ports on the unit. NetWay's new 8-port Midspans feature: a 1U rack enclosure; Data rates of 10/100/1000 Mbps at distances up to 100 m; and a comprehensive battery charger for applications that require backup. NetWay8GP and NetWay8GL also feature built-in Altronix LINQ technology to monitor, control and report power and diagnostics from anywhere.
