Latin America. All versions of the Bosch Video Recording Manager (VRM) feature a Monitoring Page. For the field technician, VRM Monitoring plays a critical role in supervising installation, troubleshooting, and gathering information. The Monitoring Page Dashboard offers a wealth of system information at first glance.
The Load Balancing menu provides a system-wide summary: the total number of iSCSI sessions and network performance of all configured storage devices. This menu also displays the current number of connections and bit rate in the form of forecasts.
The Transcoders menu provides information and their status of transcoders connected to a VRM system. This includes the main external VJ-XTC-XF transcoders, as well as the internal transcoders of the recording devices.
The Devices menu displays the total number of video channels configured on the system, including:
1. Offline devices
2. Active recordings
3. Inactive (unrecorded)
4. Devices with signal loss
The Storage menu provides a high-level summary of the iSCSI devices in the system. This includes:
1. Total number of objects in the system
2. Number of LUNs configured throughout the system
The Resources menu displays the number of virtual storage resources configured on the system. And there's more. For information on all the menus available on the VRM Monitoring Page, download the VRM Technician Monitoring Guide (here the link to the ATTACHMENT).
Tip: Updating the Page
VRM Monitoring is a live website. Depending on what is crawled or the tasks being performed, sometimes it may be necessary to refresh the page.
