Colombia. David Rojas Peralta was appointed as the new director of A3SEC Colombia, a Spanish multinational specialized in cybersecurity, data analytics and Big Data. It has operations and presence in more than 25 countries and its main headquarters are located in Madrid.
A3SEC has extensive experience in deployments of SOCs (Computer Security Operation Centers) in different sectors, such as: financial, government, services, telecommunications, etc. in Spain, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and the United States.
Prior to assuming this new role, David was Director of A3SEC Consulting in the United States, Mexico and Colombia for more than two years. Assuming the direction of A3SEC in Colombia, he will face new challenges in achieving the company's strategic objectives, related to attracting new customers in the Colombian market, meeting the group's transactional goals and adapting to changes in the environment with respect to new trends in cybersecurity and data analytics.
David Rojas is a systems engineer, executive MBA from Temple University, manager and consultant to companies in the financial, insurance, government, transportation and services sectors, with experience in business continuity, risk and compliance management. With more than 10 years of experience, he has been an entrepreneur and executive consultant in cybersecurity and information technology in Colombia and Ecuador. He has worked in companies such as PWC; Enfocus, a cybersecurity consulting company.
