In addition, the buttons and controls are clearly marked when disabled and the icons have been redesigned to recognize their function easily. These improvements make the entire GUI appear consistent, allowing operators to focus on the important things and be ready to react quickly in the event of an incident.
Other simplifications include improved mouse control of PTZ cameras through a simple drag-and-drop mode and the ability to perform a "simple alarm setup" instead of a multi-row one.
To reduce bitrates at the source, Bosch IP cameras feature intelligent streaming, a technology fully compatible with BVMS 9.0. Thanks to this functionality, bitrates can decrease by up to 80%, thus reducing storage and network infrastructure budgets.
For applications with up to 256 video channels, BVMS Plus is now available, bringing the benefits of BVMS to medium-sized applications, such as offices or warehouses, at a competitive price.
