Colombia. At the entrance of the Esperanza de Corferias, the inauguration of the fair will be held this Wednesday, August 22, with the presence of the Superintendent of Surveillance and Private Security, Fernando Martínez Bravo; the executive president of Corferias, Andrés López Valderrama; the director of the International Security Fair, Patricia Acosta and union leaders of the sector.
The fair will be extended until August 24 with more than 300 exhibitors and brands from the security sector, 20 allied guilds and specialized media, will be participating in 16,000 square meters of exhibition in halls 11 to 17 of Corferias to start the International Security Fair, E + S + S 2018.
The event, described by guilds, attendees and connoisseurs of the sector as the most complete and relevant for the South American market, serves all verticals and economic sectors interested in the implementation of technologies as a response to current and emerging risks in society.
Patricia Acosta, director of the event, said that "the International Security Fair, this year will have a strengthened academic component, since it will carry out with the help of several union institutions, important conferences, seminars and forums, which will allow both investors, professionals and entrepreneurs, to update themselves, in the face of the development of the sector in the world. "
Proof of this will be the International Conference on Fire Protection, organized by ANRACI; the WINGS Forum on Video, Surveillance and Monitoring of the Latin American Security Association; the Drones Beyond Safety Congress, of the Association of Remotely Manned Aircraft of Colombia; the Saberes de Seguridad Conference, by Coladca, the Community of Risk and Security Management Professionals; the Marketing Keynote in the Security Industry; the talk Convergence between electronic security and computer security, organized by the Center for Security Studies of Peru and more than 100 technical-commercial talks of the exhibiting companies.
Acosta revealed that "we will also have the Innovation Capsule, which will be focused on solutions for Smart Cities, through the creation of an audiovisual space in which visitors can appreciate videos of companies with solutions for this type of cities."
He added that there is no doubt that this fair "year after year continues to consolidate itself as the center of convergence and investment, innovation and acquisition of security technology for the Andean region and Central America."
