For this reason and for his high knowledge in safety issues, this year he will participate in a conference with the National Association of Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems (ANRACI) where the expert Kevin Kelly, code and standards analyst at Victaulic, will talk about trends in fire protection.
The XVIII edition of the International Security Fair in Corferias on August 22, 23 and 24 of this year will be the space where this academic event will take place.
Additionally, Victaulic will also feature Wilfredo Blancarte, fire protection sales manager, who will talk about the innovative Fire Suppression Solution Victaulic Vortex™. José Caba, marketing leader for Latin America at Victaulic says that "When discharged, Victaulic Vortex systems generate a fine suspended haze consisting of an inert gas (nitrogen) and very small droplets of water with diameters of less than 10 microns, discharged at the same time through the same emitter. (See infographic below.) The suspended haze fights the fire while simultaneously reducing the temperature and oxygen levels within the protected space, which is still considered safe for the occupants. The system also allows to generate an immediate discharge when detecting a fire, because since it is not a toxic discharge, it can be sized to operate in open spaces or rooms that are not hermetically sealed, and thus eliminates the need to invest or modify the protected space. "
In addition to the participation during the conferences, Victaulic will also have a stand where it will exhibit other innovative solutions for mechanical joining of pipes for fire protection networks.
It is also noteworthy that Victaulic has launched the first family of automatic sprinklers of the FireLock™ line with slotted ends and with Instalation-Ready™ technology, for applications of warehouses and storage spaces. Slotted sprinklers are delivered pre-assembled and ready to install using the FireLock IGS Style V9 coupling . This innovative coupling requires only one bolt and nut to be tightened, and is delivered together with one of the slotted sprinklers already pre-assembled from the factory. Different sizes of couplings are offered to allow connection between sprinklers of diameters from 1/2" to 1"; and 1" slotted tubes. This innovative solution is an extension of the FireLock IGS (Innovative Groove System) slotted line for 1" tubes that includes couplings, slotted connections, and flexible sprinkler connections. These other IGS system solutions will be demonstrated at the Victaulic stand.
