Latin America. Bosch announced that the MIC IP fusion 9000i camera has been nominated as a finalist at the Benchmark Innovation Awards 2018, an award that recognizes innovative thinking and intelligent design.
Designed for extreme environments Although it is not possible to predict the outcome of the awards, it is possible to predict the excellent results of the MIC Fusion 9000i, in terms of captured data, even in the midst of the most severe conditions. In developing the MIC IP Fusion 9000i, Bosch took extreme measures to ensure the best performance, even when the weather is volatile and unfavorable.
That is why the chamber is built with solid metal, capable of withstanding strong winds, rain, fog, dust and 100% humidity (UL Type 6P and IP68), extreme vibrations (IEC60068) and high impacts (IK10). The MIC IP Fusion 9000i is also designed to work in extremely cold conditions, down to -40°C, you can continue to capture high-quality videos thanks to the window defrosting function.
Maximum situational awareness
Just as the weather is unpredictable, there are scenarios that no one can foresee. A sudden, torrential downpour that reduces visibility on the roads. The national border crossing shrouded in desert dust. In these extreme cases, when objects can become "invisible", MIC IP Fusion 9000i has been proven to remain effective thanks to metadata fusion.
This unique capability is made possible by the camera's two built-in image processors, optical and thermal, along with the built-in Intelligent Video Analytics. By merging the metadata of both image players, users gain complete situational awareness, regardless of whether it is the optical or thermal video transmission being monitored.
For example, if a situation occurs when the optical camera is obscured, such as in a smoke-filled tunnel, the event data will still be captured by the thermal imaging camera. If an event that is not sufficiently visible in the video stream being viewed is detected, an alarm is triggered to notify users to simply click on the alarm overlay box. The user will see the video data related to that event.
Another innovation of MIC IP Fusion 9000i is the ability to use video analytics while it is moving. When the camera pans, tilts or zooms and detects a moving object in a forbidden area, it issues an alert that activates the Intelligent Tracking feature, which automatically tracks the object and manages to dynamically adjust the field of view, to capture objects with a high degree of detail.
Like all other Bosch cameras, the MIC IP Fusion 9000i is fully equipped to join the extensive infrastructure of lighting, sensors and smart devices that will make daily security operations fully integrated, intuitive and protected.
