Mexico. Boon Edam will be present at a new version of Expo Seguridad México, an event to be held between April 24 and 26 of this year. Expo Seguridad brings together in these 3 days of the fair about 16,000 security professionals. Boon Edam is also the official sponsor of the turnstiles at the exhibition.
For the business development manager of Boon Edam in Mexico, Magdalena Reyes, the issue of security in Mexico, for example, is a critical factor, "proof of this is the 6.4% increase in the insecurity of the nation, with respect to the figures that were had in 2013."
"For this reason the government has been more concerned with the security of both the facilities and their personnel, focusing especially on perimeter security. This confirms that the culture regarding the need to stay safe has changed," says Magdalena.
In this context, the company aims to support new security strategies through the launch of new products in the area of physical access control that allow different entities to have innovative and effective solutions.
For the first time, Boon Edam will exhibit its famous Tourlock 180+90 safety revolving door at Expo Security. This solution has developed a great reputation in companies that appear in the Fortune 1000 or some government buildings, for example, who have placed their trust in this entry to control access to their facilities.
The Tourlock 180+90 door is equipped with standardized roof sensors that detect and prevent intrusions, plus the optional StereoVision 2 detection system adds an additional layer of security, preventing two people from entering the door using the same compartment; this solution does not require on-call supervision, this allows owners to get a return on investment in one or two years.
In addition to the Tourlock, Boon Edam will also be presenting the following entries at booth #1731:

For the fourth consecutive year, Boon Edam is the official sponsor of the Expo Seguridad turnstiles. For the first time, the company will install a new optical turnstile at the entrances of the show: the Speedlane Open, which was created with a barrier-free design ideal for deterring casual intrusion attempts. The open turnstile is part of the sleek, modern Lifeline series launched in 2015, which has helped propel Boon Edam to the leading position in the safety entry market, according to an IHS Markit study called "Pedestrian Entrance Control Equipment," corresponding to the period 2014-2016.
