Milestone Systems, the open platform company in IP video management software (VMS), held the thirteenth version of its renowned Integration Platforms Symposium (MIPS), a space in which its strategic allies and integrators could meet and take advantage of a large exhibition and an academic agenda by company experts.
For Juan Carlos George, milestone systems sales manager for Latin America, this meeting (Las Vegas, February 19-22, 2018) "allowed the company to introspect and understand the growth opportunities it has as a community."

Within the framework of MIPS 2018, two very important recognitions were presented for the Milestone community in the region: Partner and Distributor of the Year.
This time, Securitas de Argentina was awarded as Partner of the Year, due to its hard work to promote, support, support and be a bearer of Milestone's values.
Regarding this recognition, Ángel Carcione, manager of applications and SUPPORT SES (Electronic Security Securitas), and Marcos Gómez, CTO Securitas LatAm, consider it an honor to receive the distinction, since "it means the recognition of the work of all the professionals of the company who design, install and maintain protection solutions, where Milestone is a key piece".
Similarly, Juan Carlos George, comments that Securitas Argentina is a company that has been demonstrating its interest in continuing to grow in a difficult market for many years and also continues to promote knowledge for the Milestone platform.
On the other hand, and thanks to its significant contribution to growth in Latin America, Anixter was selected as the winner of the Distributor of the Year award; It should be noted that this was a 'continental' distinction, as this company was recognized as the main ally of the year not only in Latin America but in North America.
