Costa Rica. The Barceló hotel in San José was the place chosen for attendees and exhibitors to meet at the ALAS Technological Meeting in Costa Rica.
The event, which was held on November 17, was attended by about 50 people and 5 exhibitors. It was an enriching and enjoyable day that began with the academic conference "Competitiveness in Latin America: Where are we and where are we going?" by Víctor Umaña, Director of the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development of INCAE Business School.
During the day the sponsors were able to give talks about the latest technology and the possibilities and novelties offered by their products, in addition to attending to the attendees who constantly moved through the different stands to learn more about the brands. This is the spirit of the ALAS Encounters; networking and updating.
The brands present at the Costa Rica meeting were Nedap, SoftGuard, NVT Phybridge, HID Global and Sony. And the end of the day was in charge of César Tapia, Executive Director of the Costa Rican Association of Security Companies ACES, who made a presentation on The Layers in Physical Security Systems.
The ALAS Technological Meetings are reaching the end of their tour of Latin America and the Caribbean, preparing to close their programming in Lima, Peru, on December 1st.
