Latin American. Johnson Controls introduces the latest version of Kantech's EntraPass security software, which incorporates integration with Kantech's ioSmart card reader, as part of our end-to-end encrypted access control solution. EntraPass version 7.30 includes integration with HID® Mobile Access for faster and easier access using a cell phone, while credential management is still done through EntraPass.
In addition to being compatible with ioSmart readers, EntraPass v7.30 will continue to support the use of ioProx credentials and readers. Thanks to the multi-technology options offered by ioSmart readers, it is very easy to migrate from a proximity card system to smart cards.
EntraPass v7.30 now supports using credentials with HID® Mobile Access. With this integration, users can gain access to a place by presenting a credential on their phone on a HID reader with BLE technology. The user receives an invitation from the security staff on their mobile phone and can quickly download the credential. All credentials are managed with entraPass Corporate Edition and EntraPass Global Edition software.
"The continued evolution of EntraPass and the addition of our ioSmart technology reflect our commitment and recognition of the changing needs of our customers," said Rajeev Dubey, Director of Product Management for Distributors, Solutions and Building Technologies at Johnson Controls. "EntraPass v7.30 puts modern, scalable, and easy-to-use access control technology in the hands of security administrators."
