Latin America. On June 27, the Latin American Security Association, ALAS, celebrated 20 years of experience accompanying and bringing together the electronic security industry in the region.
In 1997 ALAS was born thanks to a conversation that took place between Marc Mineau (QEPD) and George Fletcher. Today, 20 years later, the association has become a fundamental reference in the security industry.
Precisely this year, during the ALAS Management Summit in Miami (July 26 and 27) there will be an opportunity to celebrate and pay tribute to this association that has been a leading participant in Latin American history in terms of electronic security.
To all its work team, headed by Alberto Álvarez, and to its Board of Directors, with Pedro Duarte as the main bastion, our most sincere greeting of admiration and respect for his commendable work.
In good time for its 20 years!
