Vivotek announced the launch of two new dome cameras, with fixed lenses, CD8371-HNVF2 and with variable focuses, CD8371-HNTV, designed for installation in environments with high security needs, such as prisons or psychiatric hospitals. With 3MP, both have an anti-stick design, IK10+ certification and 940nm IR illuminators that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
The cameras were created to be installed in the upper corner of the cell, allowing security guards to see any event, with wide FOV horizontal angle (up to 108°) and vertical FOV (up to 79°). Both are weatherproof and anti-vandal, thanks to its built-in microphone also the audio can be clearly monitored, recording up to 5 meters.
Designed for day and night, the cameras have 940nm illuminators with IR for up to 10 meters away, beyond SNV (Supreme Night Visibility) technology that ensures excellent visibility, even in low light conditions.
