Latin America. The latest version of fpd-7024 V1.06 – now in the 10th edition of UL864 – was released this month. This version adds new features, about the price and models remain the same.
The FPD-7024 fire alarm panel can now send event reports for two different IP addresses, using the B426 Ethernet communication module or the Conettix Plug in B450 communication interface, or the combination of both.
The communications monitoring period also changed to serve NFPA 72: 6 hours for DACT (telephone lines), up to 5 minutes for cellular, and up to 60 seconds for IP. The numbers to identify the account now go up to 10 digits, depending on the protocol. International customers can now select one of 3 languages: English, Portuguese or Spanish. Now it has a more modern display with easy-to-understand icons.
The main change was in the software due to the new components of the FPD-7024 and FPE-7039, so the software of the new panel is not compatible with previous versions.
