Mexico. Hytera, a company focused on professional radio communication solutions, unveiled its new TETRA PT760Ex equipment, which is ATEX "ia" certified, the highest level of intrinsic safety in the world.
Hytera deeply understands the challenges for users in dangerous and aggressive environments. Whether on an oil rig, coal mine, gas station or any other potentially explosive environment in the oil & gas and mining industry, secure and reliable communications are above all else.
In order to meet the growing needs for intrinsic safety and reliable communication, Hytera brings the PT790Ex, the world's first explosion-proof "ia" certified TETRA radio. Ia" is the highest level of Intrinsic Safety, it means that circuit boards have three protection measures.
"At Hytera we know that radio communication is a fundamental part of worker safety, which is why we have designed the safest radio in the world, which guarantees proper operation under extreme working conditions. Our R&D team has developed an ideal solution for sectors that need robust and reliable equipment," said Anderson Castro, Hytera Marketing Manager for Latin America.
The PT790Ex TETRA provides exceptional performance, even under adverse conditions, resists temperatures between -30º C and 60ºC, to the presence of methane and dust, the main risk in coal mines. Its operation is exceptional in moments of ignition and even when a gas explosion has happened.
The built-in GNSS module supports location in GPS, GLONASS and Beidou systems with high sensitivity and accuracy of less than 2 meters. To consolidate the safety of the users of this terminal, the Lone Worker function will automatically trigger an emergency call if there is no radio operation in a predefined period of time. As well as, notify others if the worker who carries the terminal with him has fallen or suffered an accident immediately.
The PT790Ex radio allows you to make private and group calls, send and receive messages with a battery charge for an approximate duration of 14 hours. It has currently been developed to operate in the frequency bands of 380-430MHz / 806-870MHz.
Hytera's technology is a guarantee of safety and confidence, its equipment is designed under high standards and certifications of world quality, which has allowed them to position themselves as leaders in the market. "With the PT790Ex TETRA we reaffirm our commitment to offer the right products for the needs of each sector," said Anderson Castro
