International. Tyco Security Products has released version 4.8.1 of American Dynamics' victor Video Management System (VMS) and VideoEdge Network Video Recorders (NVRs), which offer new features to simplify administration and streamline security investigations.
In order to optimize bandwidth management, in the new version of victor operators of video management systems can schedule the download of video clips at times of less activity on the network. On the other hand, the incident creator allows you to correlate video evidence to visualize complete events. With the aim of reducing post-event research time, operators and guards can now generate markers and notes when they observe any important fact.
Notes, images, and other documents can be added to a unified file, along with the combined video clips, which can then be presented as concise proof of an event. In addition, the new digital authentication feature offers a simple way to prove the authenticity of extracted evidence, which can be confirmed by law enforcement agencies.
With the new unified version of victor, administrators can update user roles and privileges for Software House's C•CURE 9000 systems including the C•CURE 9000 monitoring station, management workstation and C•CURE Go mobile app. This synchronization consolidates the configuration of an operator, while making it possible to save time and unify the video surveillance and access control system. The new release also allows operators to import fully functional C•CURE 9000 maps into victor. Through a simple swipe on the screen, security operators can lock, unlock or open a door, as well as view the interface directly from the victor map.
As for the configurations for retail sales, the victor 4.8.1 system improves the integration of the points of sale allowing to visualize at the same time the reception data and the corresponding video on the screen, to perform an instant visual verification and a simple monitoring of frauds and thefts.
"The new features offer even greater speed and efficiency to improve the user experience in security tasks," said Mauricio Cañas, Product and Marketing Manager of the Video Line at Tyco Security Products.
for Latin America.. "These latest enhancements to the powerful victor platform incorporate industry-leading enterprise-grade research and productivity tools. The intuitive interface has been designed to maximize operator time and resources in the mission-critical control room environment."
