Latin America. With the release of version 7.6 of exacqVision's video management system (VMS) software, Tyco Security Products improves video deployment performance on local clients of all network video recorders (NVRs) and client workstations.
ExacqVision video management software (VMS) version 7.6 also includes new area-specific zoom features, and mapping, faster search in Exacq Mobile, and automatic updates of all exacqVision software in Enterprise System Manager (ESM), an integrity monitoring program for exacqVision Enterprise network video recorders (NVRs).
With exacqVision version 7.6, the exacqVision client has a higher level of video performance using the local client of all exacqVision recorders and client workstations that have integrated or dedicated graphics processors. In large installations with many cameras, operators can obtain a higher frame rate on a larger number of cameras by monitoring video in real time.
During real-time viewing, users can use a new zoom of specific areas using the Pan and Tilt (PTZ) function. This allows you to drag a frame through a specific region during live viewing to zoom in optically instantly and see more details on objects or people in the distance. Area-specific zoom is available for Axis and Illustra PTZ cameras integrated into exacqVision.
Version 7.6 introduces display field indicators in exacqVision maps. ExacqVision Professional and Enterprise users can add new indicators to visualize camera coverage in the environment. Users also have the ability to change the color of field of view indicators to more easily identify particular regions on the map. Also, to simplify the use of maps, users can drag and drop maps and submaps anywhere in the tree to organize them into hierarchical networks for faster navigation.
For the European market, exacqVision features the ability to set up enhanced privacy restrictions when requesting a second reviewer to access live video or video recording review.
The latest version of the Exacq Mobile app for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone 8 devices enhances search capabilities. Using the Exacq Mobile app, with a tap, users can quickly select a predefined search range of five seconds to 15 minutes to immediately see camera search results in the current view. Also, new time controls have been incorporated for searches by custom date and time.
Enterprise System Manager (ESM) gives administrators more tools to perform software updates. With the enhanced available versions page, ESM allows quick identification of currently installed versions across the environment. Administrators will receive notifications when the latest versions are available and will be able to update all exacqVision web and client services directly from ESM.
The exacqVision VMS now supports nearly 3,000 IP camera models, including the new Illustra Pro 2MP mini-dome cameras with UltraVision low-light technology.
The exacqVision VMS can be accessed using the free exacqVision client software (Windows/Linux/Mac), the free exacqVision web client available for all leading browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera) and the free Exacq Mobile app for iOS, Android and Windows Phone 8 devices. VMS software is included with preconfigured exacqVision NVR servers or can be installed on third-party Windows or Linux-based systems.
