Recently, at the Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center, in Lima, Peru, the 2016 edition of the FTTH LATAM Conference was held, one of the most important conventions in the region in the field of telecommunications, where the main FTTH equipment manufacturers, solution providers, independent telecommunications companies, and other broadband providers present in Latin America met.
Quantum Tecnología, manufacturer of active and passive connectivity devices for copper and fiber optic networks, was one of the leading companies at the event, in which it participated with a wide stand where it presented its range of devices for access and fo distribution networks, oriented to the regional telecommunications market.
The company's participation in the fair responds to its policy of expansion and regional positioning and, particularly, to a market in constant development such as Peru. "We want to accompany local companies in their technological update and expansion projects," emphasized Ricardo Muñoz Mur, Business Development Manager. "Several FTTH deployments have been carried out in Argentina, with an integral participation in them, and we want to take this type of solutions and our experience to other countries in the region," he concluded.
For her part, Rosana Román, Commercial Director for Latam and France of the firm, was very satisfied with the impact of Quantum's participation in the FTTH LATAM 2016 and pointed out that it is part of the company's strategy to continue strengthening the brand in Peru and the rest of Latin America.
The Conference included, among others, the participation of José Gallardo Ku, Minister of Transport and Communications of Peru, and Luis Montes Bazalar, Technical Secretary, Telecommunications Investment Fund, as representatives of the Peruvian National Government.
