Latin America. Nutanix announced a new version of its Web-scale computing platform that offers up to four times better performance for any workload without additional hardware or software license, freedom to choose hypervisors without having to marry a particular manufacturer, and integrated machine learning capabilities that increase operational efficiency.
Nutanix solutions for building and operating enterprise clouds uniquely provide agility, payable consumption, and simple operation of the public cloud without sacrificing predictability, security, and on-premise infrastructure control.
To meet the ever-increasing demands of modern enterprises, an enterprise cloud platform must include a Web-scale infrastructure network that provides resiliency, availability, and predictable performance across diverse enterprise applications.
In addition, it must incorporate imperceptible mobility of applications and data, invisible operations with the simplicity of a click through integrated machine intelligence, extensive automation and comprehensive analytics, as well as a design where safety is put first. Version 4.6 of the Nutanix software extends the company's technology leadership and provides a platform that underscores its mission to provide an invisible infrastructure to elevate IT.
"We use the public cloud for services such as messaging, collaboration and our web presence; but we continue to rely on on-premise infrastructure for our healthcare applications because we need stability, security and sustainability improvements," said Brett Taylor, IT Director of St. Luke's Health System. "The Nutanix enterprise cloud is the foundation that will allow us to strategically use both environments to meet the needs of our healthcare customers and improve the overall experience for IT end users."
