Latin America. Mobotix has launched a new series of thermal camera products equipped with a new type of thermal measurement technology to execute automatic events based on absolute temperatures between -40 and 550 °C.
This new technology is perfect for generating automatic alarms defined by limits or temperature ranges, something crucial when it comes to detecting possible fires or heat sources. At the same time, MOBOTIX provides a free software update to upgrade existing thermal cameras with spot thermal measurement in the center of the image.
Within the available temperature range of -40 to 550 °C and with a thermal sensitivity of 0.05 °C (NETD = 50 mK), different temperature conditions can be easily defined in the new RT (thermal radiometry) window or through the full sensor image with a typical accuracy of ±10 °C.
In this way, up to 20 temperature events can be defined at the same time. In the new thermal products with RT, point measurement, which measures the temperature related to 4 pixels in the center of the image, has also been improved, with a typical accuracy of ±10 °C. These new launches will help prevent further damage to industrial and commercial facilities, manufacturing and logistics, recycling, forests, etc.
Mobotix Thermal Radiometry (RT) is available on its popular M15 and as a sensor module on the S15 dual camera system. In addition, the RT is also available as the S15 PT-Mount sensor head. The two S15 thermal modules can be configured as a dual thermal system for more flexible use or as the perfect combination of thermal and optical technology to ensure the most reliable visual detection and verification results at the same time.
