International. Tripp Lite has appointed Darwin Haines as the new Senior Vice President of International Business, which will drive new global business strategies.
Darwin Haines joined Tripp Lite in 2008 as Vice President of International Business Development. After successfully positioning the brand in the Russian and CIS market, he was promoted to Vice President of Sales for EMEA and Asia. Thanks to his success in these regions, he will now take responsibility for Tripp Lite International Sales which will also include Mexico, Latin America and Canada.
Haines' new role began after Bill DeCicco, who served as Executive Vice President of International Business, announced his retirement plans for the end of 2015; In addition, DeCicco will continue to work during the transition period until the last day of this year. Tripp Lite President Glen Haeflinger thanked Bill DeCicco "for his dedication shown over 19 years of service, as he was of great value and contribution to the company, so we will miss him."

Darwin Haines has 20 years of experience in international business and more than 10 in the IT industry; he has collaborated with large companies such as Motorola, Actuant and IDEX Corporation. He holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering and Economics from the United States Military Academy and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
