International. Vivotek announced the approval of the verification of the Taiwan Intellectual Property Management System 2014 (TIPS), which allowed it to attend the "Tips 2014 Verified Institution Recommendation and Exchange Summit", held by the Legal Institute of Science and Technology on March 23 to accept this recognition.
Vivotek is a brand of technology-based network surveillance systems. It has a strong research and development team, owns fundamental multimedia compression technologies, and possesses advanced product development and technology integration capabilities. These advantages have enabled it to continuously launch innovative, high-quality products that have been awarded internationally.
In 2011, and with the aim of enhancing the creativity of its team, Vivotek implemented the Intellectual Property Management Division to protect its achievements in research and development and intellectual property. Vivotek's research and development (R&D) department operates under a 4-point policy, which includes "the development of key technologies", "the reduction of operational risks", "the strengthening of the distribution of intellectual property" and "the creation of intellectual property value". To further strengthen its competitiveness and effectively use its intellectual property, in 2014 Vivotek incorporated
TIPS to establish a more complete and comprehensive intellectual property management system. The tangible benefits that TIPS generates for companies include the effective integration of R&D activities with the development of intellectual property, the increase in the volume of intellectual property , the reduction of operating costs for repeated copyright violations, the establishment of a brand management mechanism, improving the handling of intellectual property disputes and litigation, and formulating management measures for confidential documents, environments, equipment and personnel. At the same time, these benefits reduce operational risks and generate operating income .
Vivotek President Owen Chen said: "We extend our deepest thanks to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Legal Institute of Science and Technology for their long-standing efforts in promoting TIPS. Vivotek is proud to have formally approved the TIPS 2014 verification, which has allowed us to create a comprehensive intellectual property management system and improve the protection of our achievements in R&D. TIPS has not only contributed to highlighting Vivotek's reputation and increasing the trust of our customers and strategic partners, but it has also boosted our competitiveness globally."
