International. Continuing with the search for the highest possible image quality, Vivotek launched four new 5 Megapixel network cameras: the IB8381 and IB8381-E professional outdoor bullet network cameras; the FD8381-EV outdoor dome type network camera; and the FD8181 indoor dome network camera.
Equipped with enhanced image processing technology, these four new cameras offer excellent image quality and finer detail than ever before.
Incorporating advanced features such as 3D Noise Reduction, Intelligent IR and Intelligent Video Flow technology, the IB8381, IB8381-E, FD8381-EV and FD8181 all four cameras are able to suppress sensor noise, prevent overexposure and produce clear images throughout the day while also reducing bandwidth consumption and improving image details in both extremely bright and dark environments.
In the near future, new features such as video rotation for watching corridors and electronic image stabilization (EIS) technology will be introduced in the four new cameras. The rotation of the video to see corridors can provide wider vertical coverage providing more depth while EIS technology allows the cameras to mitigate the effect of camera vibration due to wind allowing to ensure a stable image.
The new 5 Megapixel network cameras IB8381, IB8381-E, FD8381- EV and FD8181 are definitely ideal options for surveillance of cities, campuses, parking lots, train stations, critical infrastructure and monitoring of natural spaces. The FD8381-EV, the outdoor version of the FD8181, is specially designed with a robust IP66 and IK10 rated cover to ensure the camera body withstands rain and dust and is also protected from vandalism or sabotage.
The IB8381-E and FD8381-EV, with an extensive operating temperature range of -50~50°C, are better able to ensure performance and reliability in extremely hot and cold climates even with only 802.3at PoE power.
