Panama. The administrator of the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP), Jesús Sierra, acknowledged that 16 of the 34 video surveillance cameras he bought for the celebration of the Summit of the Americas to be held at the Atlapa Convention Center in April, can not be used.
He indicated that the system they have is obsolete for the high-generation cameras that were acquired.
He also denied that there is an extra cost in the purchase of the equipment, which was made directly with the company STS Panama S.A.
"This is the only company that provides the service," he told local media.
