Latin America. Video surveillance camera recordings that offer good image quality and, mainly, facial visualization are an important element in criminal investigations.
The new Axis P8524 micro camera was designed to aid in investigations, enabling video surveillance with HDTV quality at eye level.
This model allows the position of the camera to be directed towards the face of the individual, to provide a more reliable identification, even if the suspect was wearing hats or hats.
The Axis P8524 is ideal for shops, hotels and banks, where height indicator tapes are used to allow witnesses and guards to observe the height of fleeing individuals.
The lenses and image sensor are mounted in a compartment about 1 meter and 70 centimeters from the floor, opening a horizontal field of view of 57 degrees. High-resolution images can be stored in the camera itself via a 64GB SD card, and there is also the possibility of integration with alarm systems. To protect your computer against predation attempts, the installation type of this model prevents the camera from being vandalized.
"It is increasingly common for private companies to collaborate with police investigations by handing over recordings that help solve crimes inside or outside commercial establishments," explains Marcelo Ponte, Axis Marketing Manager. "This new product aims to make it more effective to identify the faces of suspects with a different angle of view than the ceiling."
