More than a dozen Milestone Solution Partners have already earned certification, including Agent Vi, BriefCam, Oncam GrandEye, The HawkEye Effect, Ipsotek, Mango DSP/Mate, Open Options, Prism Skylabs, Sentry 360, Technology Associates (TEAS), Technoaware, Viasys and VIT.
Certified solutions include video analysis, video synopsis (a simultaneous presentation of objects and activities that have occurred at different times), 360° display with corrected fisheye lens display, geospatial positioning, and access control.
Milestone's open platform VMS enables innovation through integrations with XProtect® video surveillance software. The Milestone Integration Platform (MIP) includes a Software Development Kit (SDK) with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and is updated with ongoing developments.

In the certification process that Milestone solutions went through, conducted by Connex International, third-party integrations are verified and evaluated, with attention to four areas: functionality, ease of use, performance and partner evaluation. This means that certified MSP integrations offer system integrators, marketers and distributors the added confidence to work with XProtect's integrated solutions, enhancing the functionality of their facilities to achieve new levels of customer satisfaction.
