Argentina. The Secretariat of Public Security of the province of Santa Fe, under the Ministry of Security, will carry out two days of debate (in the cities of Rosario and Santa Fe) to move towards the regulation of the Video Surveillance System in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 13,164.
The first of them takes place this Tuesday, March 19 in the city of Rosario, The other will be held this Wednesday 20, in the building of the Civic Center of Region 4, Nodo Rosario (San Lorenzo No. 1949). In turn, the same Wednesday will be held in the city of Santa Fe, at 9 (local time), in the auditorium of the Ministry of Security (1st Board No. 2823).
The objective of the conference is to be able to debate and exchange proposals to move towards its effective regulation. In both places, they will be chaired by the Secretary of Public Security, Matías Drivet; accompanied by the Provincial Director of Technologies for Security and Emergency Care, Diego Rullo.
These instances will be aimed at provincial legislators, municipal authorities of Santa Fe and Rosario, authorities of the Provincial Executive Power, representatives of the Technological Pole of Rosario, the Conicet of Santa Fe, and national universities, among many others.
Context: Law No. 13.164, enacted in 2010, regulates the installation and use of systems for capturing images of natural persons, obtained in public or private places of public access, whether open or closed.
