International. Mobotix was chosen by the Portuguese company provider of network communications services, Claranet, to video monitor its data center in Lisbon, a space of 250 m2 equipped for the storage of information systems.
To ensure the safety and availability of information, they have mechanisms against fires, floods and intruders. In addition, Claranet raised the possibility of visualizing in real time what was happening inside the data center.
Optivisus, Mobotix's partner in Portugal, was the installation company of the security system that was based on Mobotix technology, in the camera tandem - ExtIO. Asimimos carried out the implementation of several cameras of the D24 FixDome model that offers multiple application possibilities thanks to interchangeable lenses and various installation and equipment variants.
They also incorporated into the cameras the ExtIO module, which can be connected directly via USB or network and which provides the Mobotix cameras with a powerful sound unit with microphone and speaker, an infrared motion detector, a temperature sensor and additional input and output contacts. In combination with the two luminous keys, door and intercom installations can also be easily implemented.
