Latin America. Samsung Techwin America announced that given the accelerated growth of its operations in Latin America, it will be strengthening its marketing and sales team to better serve the region. That's why the company just hired Diana Mete as Communications Manager for Latin America.
In this role, Diana will be in charge of working hand in hand with María Clara Parra in the general marketing strategy for the region.
However, Diana will focus primarily on the communications side, directing and overseeing the work of pr agencies and coordinating everything related to security industry events and shows.
She will also be in charge of all information material on operations and products, such as press releases, presentations, website, advertising, etc. María Clara will continue to be in charge of Samsung's growth analysis within the Latin American market at the channel, region and product level mainly. Additionally, she will be focused on defining trends, competition and opportunities within the industry.
