Latin America. IndigoVision, a leading manufacturer of comprehensive IP video security solutions, recently announced its partnership with Ipsotek for product integration.
This partnership will benefit end users with a complete solution that meets their specific needs, thanks to the integration of VISuite, Ipsotek's product that enables advanced video analytics, with IndigoVision's security management solution, SMS4™.
As Ipsotek's video content analysis solution, VISuite takes IndigoVision's SMS4™ video streams and proceeds to identify predefined events and events by means of a comparison of rules configured in the patented Scenario Based Detection (SBD) engine. This engine executes the application of multiple event detections simultaneously or in predefined sequences, which provides detailed information that ensures a better understanding of the events in order to further reduce the number of false alarms.
In particular, Ipsotek's hardware and software components analyze video streams and, upon detecting pre-configured events, automatically send alarms linked to Control Center, IndigoVision's SMS4™ client interface. Working together, Ipsotek and IndigoVision offer end users solutions for perimeter protection, intrusion detection, traffic control, crowd control, business intelligence and advanced pedestrian and vehicle tracking on public roads.
"At Ipsotek, we focus on providing the industry with solutions that are effective and cost-effective. This partnership gives both companies the opportunity to offer end users a simple, unified and out-of-the-box solution. Working together, we aim to create and deliver solutions that will improve safety and operational efficiency, with an eye on the global participation markets and security sector," said Sateesh Pedagadi, senior research and development engineer at Ipsotek.
Alex Swanson, Head of Engineering at IndigoVision, said: "The integration with Ipsotek extends the video analytics capabilities of SMS4™. The incidents detected by VISuite generate alarms in Control Center, which ensures better backup and response time of surveillance personnel to security threats."
