Latin America. Milestone Systems was named Partner of the Year 2012 for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean by Axis Communications, the global leader in network surveillance equipment. This award exalts the joint work done by Milestone and Axis in the region.
From November 7 to 9, 2012, the first Axis Channel Convergence Conference (ACCC) 2012 was held at the St. Regis Hotel in Mexico City. The different business partners participated in this meeting and the work of those who excel in different areas was recognized with the presentation of the ADP (Application Development Partner) of the year award in this region.
Milestone Systems was recognized, in the category of Developer Partner of the Year, for its work on the different projects developed with Axis in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
"Milestone was awarded this recognition for the ADP of the year in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean thanks to the dedication shown by its sales and technical team in the region, for having a stable product and 100% compatible with the advanced functions of Axis cameras and for having strategies aligned with ours for the Latin market", says Fernando Esteban, regional manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean at Axis Communications.
For Juan Carlos George, sales manager for Mexico, Central and South America (excluding the Caribbean and Brazil) of Milestone Systems, this recognition rewards the good performance of the company and the realization of the different projects that were developed in the year. He adds that "the support that Milestone has of Axis devices is full, this gives confidence when carrying out projects because the integrators know that the solution will work."
Esteban assures that the set of platforms that Milestone Systems has for each need and the quality of its collaborators in the region were the main reasons why it was selected as a winner in this category. He also added to these arguments the sum of all the operations they have carried out together, the day-to-day work and projects, as well as a fruitful relationship of business partners.
The relationship between Milestone Systems and Axis in Mexico dates back to 2005, resulting in numerous projects in which the combination of both systems has improved security in the country, taking as a reference the project of Mexican prisons this year.
It should be noted that the relationship between the two companies began in Denmark and Sweden since the last decade.
