Camera Modules
A complete set of reference designs for camera modules based on Seawolf chips launched pixim Inc., a supplier of sensors for security cameras.
Available in three sizes: 32x32mm, 38x38mm, and 42x42mm, these will allow users to quickly and easily support the most widely used high-volume security camera modules in the world. In addition, they were produced to accommodate a wide variety of housings for cameras and applications, so they include mount hole patterns for common targets.
The 32x32mm model allows you to connect very small cameras and is used in devices embedded in ATMs and traffic cameras. It is also important to note that they only require 0.1 lux of illumination to produce usable color images at 30 frames per second.
Company spokespeople say that with these three reference designs it will be possible to use all the advantages of the Seawolf chip in any camera form factor.
