28/09/11. After finishing the act that was held in commemoration of the CXC anniversary of the Consummation of the Independence of Mexico in Plaza de Armas, the municipal president Jesus Ali de la Torre announced that eight security cameras will be installed along the historic center at strategic points.
Before the media, Ali de la Torre stressed that it will be the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), who will carry out the installation and control these surveillance equipment.
Without indicating which streets will be where these new cameras will be located, he said that it will be the Secretariat of Security who will be in charge, since they were acquired through the resources of the Subsemun, as part of a proposal that was created to strengthen security throughout the center of the City of Villahermosa.
"There will be adequate police surveillance but also cameras, which will reinforce the security of the Tabasco population," he emphasized.
Remodeling work and works continue
After questioning him how the remodeling works of the Center are going, Ali de la Torre said that there are still benches, parasols and finish in some streets the facades which are being done in a timely manner because the old way they have is protected.
He stressed that there are more than 170 parks that have been maintained during his term, as well as five parks plus one in Tierra Colorada, Miguel Hidalgo, Palmitas, Casa Blanca as well as Infonavit.
